To Roy.{Sir Henry Royce} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} X3565 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn{Mr Robinson}2/LG23. 8. 27. A.R.I.C. THERMOMETERS. We have had the 2 A.R.I.C. thermometers you sent to us for test, calibrated. Attached is a copy of the results. We will further test these thermometers on a car but suggest to the makers that if they cannot produce more accurate readings on their instruments below 50°C that they might omit this portion of the scale. The readings at 50°C are not sufficiently accurate for our purpose in any case and would have to be improved. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} | ||
