Dear Robotham,
I am very glad to learn from your letter of the 23rd February that you are going to try and pay us a visit sometime. I can assure you that you will be welcome to any facts or figures which would interest you.
With regard to your request for particulars of results on the reduction of cylinder bore wear with thin oil, I was going to send you copies of the various Research Reports which we have issued on this subject. I find, however, that without a considerable amount of amplification they might be misleading.
I am at present engaged in compiling a summary of all the work which we have completed up to date, together with the conclusions which we feel justified in making. When this is complete I will send you a copy. I am sure that this will be more helpful than masses of figures with rather meagre explanations attached to them.
Yours sincerely,
