6089 CHILDS Lamps bulbs gen To. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} CHATEAUROUX. I/.25.10.38. 8.B.V.- BENTLEY III. We thank you for the spare bulbs received. In the meanwhile we have obtained some yellow bulbs suitable for the centre lamp. We find this a great help as it is not objected to by approaching cars and prevents a lot of fuss and flashing of lamps. This yellow colour is now compulsory on new cars in France and is to be enforced for all vehicles as from the 1st January 1939. We are sending you a sample bulb. This law will apply to headlamps as well as dipped lamps. ------------------ Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/IMW.{Ivan M. Waller - Head of Chateauroux} | ||
