X.1084 96.F.C. To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} From Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}7/CB3.8.20. X.4175 RE "FOLBERTH" WIND SCREEN WIPER. X.1084 London seem interested in this wind screen, and Mr. Cohen of America would have liked to have got an opinion as to the possibility of fitting this screen to R.R. Cars in America. While we do not like the rubber connection to the induction pipe, if you are agreeable we think it would be worth fitting this wiper to an experimental car in order that we may have some sort of definite report to give them. Of course its advantages would not be shewn up in this sort of weather very much, but we should be able to find out whether it caused any trouble with the engine. I am accordingly sending it along to you with a view to your fitting it if you agree. Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
