Re. Jacks.

With reference to Ds/Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}2/M13.11.31. and Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}2/E17.11.31.., we have made enquiries concerning the Jackall Hydraulic four wheel jacking system and find that we can obtain a set of these jacks for a cost to us of approximately £14 which includes a fee for fitting up on our car of £3. 3. 0d. The makers prefer the system to be fitted to our car at their works; we would say that this is better than fitting them ourselves here. Unless we hear from you by return to the contrary, we will proceed to arrange for this work to be carried out.

In addition to the Jackall system we are making enquiries concerning the D.W.S. mechanical system (distributed by Donald Sessions & Co. Ltd., Harrow Road, Willesden). This system is similar in principle to the Jenks Jack, but it is a much better finished article. It may be that we shall find drawbacks in the Jackall Hydraulic system and eventually prefer a mechanical type.
