B.111 MODIFIED EXHAUST VALVE.

Swdl{Len H. Swindell}

Herewith FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies}403 dealing with the exhaust valve breakage reported on Bentley V.{VIENNA}

The fracture is in the same place as the Wraith.

Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Swdl.{Len H. Swindell} is in agreement to try this modification which consists in adding metal at the point of breakage.

We are all loath to put up the valve stem diameter for many obvious reasons.

The turning pip centre has been deleted, aero valves and our car inlet valves made outside are supplied without it on the finished product.
