We are sending by Air Mail the following parts.
(1) New set of exhaust valves EW 1853 (KE 963)
(2) New Klingerit gaskets EW 1933
(3) 2 New Aerolite pistons (raised crown) P 451.
Will you please return the failed valve, also the remaining exhaust valve and fit the new set.
We would like to know in what condition the Klingerit cylinder head gasket was in when the head was removed, also, whether there was any sticking or difficulty in removing the head.
A careful inspection should be made of the inlet valves which were products of Motor Components Ltd., When the new gasket is fitted both sides should be smeared with clean engine oil which is a preventative against sticking.
