Smith}' ENGINE MOUNTING. 47430 Further to our Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn{Mr Robinson}2/LG7.1.29. We have now carried out further tests with the 4 engine feet mounted on 1/8" strip rubber as indicated in the sketch attached to the above report. The results are very promising, engine vibrations and oscillation of the radiator having been almost completely eliminated. The most pleasing feature of the increased frame rigidity is the excellence of the steering which appears to be better for selectivity than our present standard. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/R^m | ||
