To Roy.{Sir Henry Royce} from EFC. c. to EY. c. to E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} X6040 EFC3/MS5.3.30. X6040 Cellulose lacquered cambric covered Maconite -X7561- Low Tension Cable. We give attached in tabular form the requirements per one Phantom II chassis in the matter of low tension (12 volt) wiring. This gives the necessary particulars of core sizes, maximum outside diameters, colour requirements and lengths. The particulars given are not in exact accordance with present standard, but incorporate a few minor proposed modifications. During the recent visit of the Macintosh Company's representatives to our premises, this matter of L.T. wiring and particularly the question of double colouring was discussed and we were informed that this would probably be possible, but the matter would be looked into. Will you please now place an order for sufficient wire for the experimental wiring of two chassis to the attached particulars (two copies) which are the requirements of one chassis. EFC. | ||
