X.4430. 29.11.21. X.4430 - PAPER FOR ROLLED CONDENSER. Required preferably in reels of not less than 50 yards each, width 1.100". Capable of being rolled up interleaved with .0005" x .900" strip tin or aluminium foil without tearing where it overlaps the edges of the foil. Maximum thickness should be .0015". Di-electric inductivity should be not less than 5.5 and breakdown voltage not less than 400 volts (R.M.S. A.C.) Must either be perfectly free from week spots, or obtainable in .00075" thickness with a breakdown strength of about 300 volts when it could be used double for reliability. | ||
