4. Side Shaft on standard bearings, located endwise in best location, by means of shims. For this reason the box casing should be standard in all respects that is, the locating shoulder at the front end of the secong motion shaft should not be removed.
All of these bearings we use are assembled with about .005 end play, and once the correct location for the outer race of the front bearing is found, this end play will take care of the out of truth of the nickel steel gears.
