SQUEAKING BRAKES. X7420 / X8420

We consider it is important that we should have a scheme for fitting dampers to the front brake drums with the new lightened axle. Further tests have confirmed that we are likely to have more trouble with squeaking with these brakes than the present ones although with the present car we have frequent complaints.

We have proved that if we damp the drum the squeaks are eliminated.
