X 208- To Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} from E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} c. By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} Roy.{Sir Henry Royce} E.1/HP.14.6.33. Bentley Carburetters. It was agreed some time ago that two of the Bentley chassis should be rigged up with different finishes to the carburetters and induction pipes and valve rocker cover, etc. one being all black and the other scratch brush finish, and that a decision should be obtained from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} as to what finish should be finally adopted. We should be glad to know if this has now been carried out as Order Office are pressing for some instruction as to the finish of the carburetters. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} | ||
