X.4233 C O P Y. AY. from BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} c. Mr Imeson. c. Mr Coverley. c. Mr Vale. c. Mr Shelton. c. EFC. .BY2-P24.12.20. X 4233 KITE WHEELCASE AND GEARS. Will you kindly note that although we have specified 20° obliquity for the gears in the wheelcase gears that the experimental chassis should be cut 14½°. This will not be so good as the 20° obliquity gear would be, but the difference is so small, that since we have a 14½° obliquity hob in stock we should use this rather than wait for delivery of the 20° obliquity. We do not propose to alter the drawings, however, as when the car comes on hand we propose to use 20° obliquity. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} EFC RECEIVED DEC 24 | ||
