MINUTES OF CONFERENCE ON CHASSIS - PAGE 3 UNDER HEADING OF
"AUTOLOCK".

As I remember this particular issue it was
discussed from two points of view:-

(a) Whether provision was made to fit the autolock, and
what had been instructed.

(b) Whether it was possible at the moment to release the
autolock to the Works.

It was agreed that provision had been made,
but that whilst it was desirable to have the autolock
Experimental Department were not yet in a position to
release it.

It had not actually been fitted on the 10,000
miles car, but Experimental work is still proceeding.
