406 To HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} c. to By/NS.{Norman Scott} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale}17/JH.17.8.38. BENTLEY III BRAKES. Will you please fit the unhardened jaws and links EX.31932/3/4 to 8.B.V. so that they can run in France. The unhardened link EX.31932 is an economy but we will have to be certain that in instructing soft jaws for production, we are not creating more special pieces, if the same jaws are used on external rods they ought to be hard.
