Whilst I was pleased to note that Mr.Rootes agreed that you have succeeded to the extent of about 50% in eliminating the trouble of which he complained, I was sorry to read that you had no immediate cure. Is not the introduction of the rubber engine mountings coupled with the higher compression pistons and other features of the 20/25 h.p.chassis one of the remedies for part of this trouble ? You will of course know that GDP-36 has not the benefit of these more recent improvements, and of course we do not talk about high compression and such engine improvements to anybody, as we don't want it to get noised abroad yet. It would however be interesting and encouraging to know that the latest features concerning the engine do produce a better job from the points of view complained of than what we find in Mr.Rootes' car.
