12th May, 1936.

Dear Sirs,

We regret that owing to an oversight, no reply was sent to your letter of May 6th. but the position is being made very awkward for us owing to the fact that all the Y Alloy castings we had in stock were found to be porous, and had to be returned to Messrs. Sterling Metals for replacement.

We have had a definite promise from them for delivery today, and after receipt of same, we shall still want the 6-7 days mentioned by us in our letter of April 27th, but would assure you that we are doing everything possible to get the job through.

Yours faithfully,
P.P. Ceandess, Ltd.,
