X4088 EFCL/T. 17th February, 1925. Messrs. The Midgley Car Lighting Co.Ltd., 1A, Cockspur Street, London, S.W.1. Dear Sirs, Re Midgley Electrical Equipment. We thank you for your letter of the 12th inst. bringing to our notice the above equipment. We have already carefully considered this equipment about 2½ years ago, and so far as we can see the up-to-date equipment shews no material modification. As you know, we are now making the majority of our chassis electrical equipment, with the exception of the more proprietary articles, such as batteries, magnetos, Klaxon horns, etc. In the circumstances we do not really think there is anything to be gained by discussing the equipment with your Mr. Leighton. The only thing of interest to us might be in trying out the working principle of the controller, though we could not claim that this course had any prospect of being of any advantage to yourselves.
