Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letter of the 25th. inst. and for the information which you have given on the chart the writer left at Leyland.

Mr. Markland informed the writer that the next tests would be to determine the effect a seized AC.6 bearing has on the crankshaft and we shall be pleased to hear the results of the tests in due course.

May the writer take this opportunity of thanking Mr.Markland for his courtesy during the writer's recent visit to Leyland.
