K-533 PER BAG. To O.{Mr Oldham} From Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}2/MJ.3.6.33. 3½ LITRE BENTLEY CAR. The green saloon car which we are sending to you today represents what we expect to obtain on production with these cars as regards :- (1) Performance. (2) Silence. (3) Brakes. (4) Steering. (5) Springing The only thing missing on the green car is the cut-out. Tests on Brooklands show that with the cut-out open the maximum speed is increased approximately 2 M.P.H.. The axle ratio on the green car is what we expect will be a standard ratio. We have a higher gear for open cars. India tyres are fitted, these are the proposed standard for this car. In case it is necessary to fill up with oil, we are using Mobile oil 'D' in the engine. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
