X.435. To O.O. from Ck.{Mr Clark} c. to Stores. Ck{Mr Clark}5/T27.1.20. X.3231 X.485 BRUSHES FOR BIJUR DYNAMO ON PACKARD CAR We have had trouble with the Bijur dynamo on the Packard car owing to the brush connections failing, as you will see from sample herewith. Will you kindly write to the Morganite Crucible Co., and order up half a dozen brushes to replace sample herewith, but giving 1/4" more depth than present sample. It should be stated that they are for a 6 volt dynamo and that each brush has singly to carry 20 amperes. We require one connection only (at one side) and we hope that, by making use of the Battersea connection, a suitable joint can be made for carrying the 20 amps. without trouble. The pig-tail should be about 5" long and does not require any special terminal on the end as the end of the wire will be soldered into a small cup. Ck.{Mr Clark} | ||
