Will you please detail the parts necessary for trying these springs experimentally on Phantom III valve gear without hydraulic tappets. The scheme as drawn is for the adaptation of the new springs to existing engines and we shall shortly issue a final scheme of valve springs, wedges and top and bottom washers which will be suitable for all car engines. These springs are of reduced stress and should be tried in heat treated low carbon steel in addition to the standard material Will you please send a print of this s cheme to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Swdl.{Len H.
