RR26 (10M BKS) (SH 658 5-11-20) MP 221103 X4546 ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. INSTRUCTIONS To. Mr Haines Order No. Customer's No. Test with beaded edge tyres on deflation with & without security bolts. Two tyres were fitted to 4.E.7 Rear Wheels, Near side had security bolts Off side none. The car was run at varying speed's up to 45 M.P.H round a grass track. and after 7 miles the Near Side tyre tore it's self off. the tyre without the security bolts remaining on.
