X5660 EJBS/EC.14.10.30. BY [REDACTED] C..Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Yellow Sheet Y1187. JB.Ferguson Ltd., Belfast, Dynamo No. R.80. EX; Chassis GUP-51. Report. The dynamo has at some time, been overhauled, probably due to the fact that the control brush has been moved to a higher output position by someone outside the works. The result of the overhauling was that the solder started to run in two places, and this fault was temporarily repaired by soldering together the commutator lugs over the bad joint. The temporary repair was quite satisfactory, as the machine, when tested here was quite O.K., over a run of about three hours. E.J.Brock. | ||
