84523. Expl. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Les.4/MJ. January 22nd.1932. S. Smith & Sons Ltd., Cricklewood Works, LONDON.N.W.2. Dear Sirs, Re. Electrical Petrol Gauges. With reference to your letter of the 19th. inst. We are sorry to hear of the delay re the instrument patch. We should, however, like to impress upon you again the urgency of this gauge for our 18 gallon tank to our drawing F.58208. We are expecting the tank to be at our Works on Monday next. With regard to the gauges for the 20 gallon tank, these are not for instrument patches. The only gauge for the instrument patch is the one for the 18 gall. tank F.58208. This gauge will be standardised with the instrument patch. We hope that we have now made everything clear, and are sorry if we have confused you at all. Yours faithfully, For Rolls-Royce Ltd. | ||
