REPORT ON 15-EX PHANTOM CHASSIS WITH SPORTS BODY (9000 MILES)

ELECTRICAL FITTINGS - IGNITION.

Distributor fitted with scrubbing contact to LeC.2460. Standard rotor.

The contact points were examined at a mileage pf 2500. No burning of the contacts points had taken place. A slight pip had formed on the contact screw point. They were again examined at 5000 and 9060 miles, the condition of the contact points had remained the same. We have had no misfires from the battery ignition and it has not been necessary to adjust or clean the contacts throughout the mileage.
