Effect of Length of H.T. Lead on Magneto Spark.
Further tests have been made on the same magneto, Watford E.C N°45168; the length of cable this time being increased from 4 ft, by 2 ft lengths, up to 20 ft.
The method of procedure was the same as in the previous tests.
There is still no consistent variation in the sparking speed. Generally the earthed side appears to get a little worse, but at the same time still compares favourably with the insulated side.
