Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letter of the 11th instant reference Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}4/LG.

We have yet to hear from our Paris factory that you will not consider any modification in your tank so that our gauge could be properly fixed. We regret your decision because we are certain that with a little goodwill and a few insignificant changes our Gauge could be easily fixed on your standard tank.

As the Blue prints we received from you were immediately despatched to Paris we have nothing handy to examine to be in a position to give you more precise information in this matter. We should therefore be very grateful if you could let us have another copy as well as a tank. After receipt of these we could discuss the question more satisfactorily and give you precise and concrete information. We undertake not to alter your tank in anyway without your sanction so that you will not run any risk, and yet we shall be able to let you have a detailed report from our technical experts.

Trusting you will not refuse our request for which we thank you in advance,

We are,

Yours faithfully,
THE O.S.SPEEDOMETER CO.LTD.

Managing-Director.
