CHASSIS - PETROL TANKS. ----------------------------------------- Sales Department are anxious to have the scheme fitted on production cars to enable remote ventilation to be fitted to the petrol tanks, and do not wish to have the matter delayed until the completion of the 10,000 miles tests. We suggest that the modified elbow fitting for the fillers is fitted on a 20/25 and 40/50 HP. chassis in the Experimental Department, and tests made with a vent plug to see if the latter is satisfactory and does not allow oil to spill out. The parts to be made are as follows :- 40/50 HP. CHASSIS. F.85822 Cap for Plug. F.85823 Vent Plug. F.85825 Partition (Anti Splash). F.85832 Disc for Plug. F.85702 Connection. E.27486 Joint Washer for Plug. 20/25 HP. CHASSIS. F.60068 Baffle (Anti- splash) The remainder of the parts are as quored above, except that F.85825 is not used on 20/25 HP. BY/Cgh.{W Clough} | ||
