We send you herewith wiring diagrams of the new scheme of dynamo control on the Bensport Chassis. It will be necessary both on the production test rig and Mx{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer}'s engine unit beds for a C.A.V. regulator unit to be always coupled up to the dynamo when the latter is on test, otherwise serious damage may occur to the dynamo windings unless the dynamo is totally disconnected from the battery. We understand that it is the custom on the unit test beds to test the dynamo under load in order to determine gear noise in which case it will be necessary for this regulator unit to be fitted up as shown on the accomapnying diagram.
