I have obtained the following information that you required. PHANTOM II. The cost of changing a loose starter ring is £12.15.0. The ring costs £3. 15. 0. with bolts Time taken to fit ring costs £1. 5. 0. Total £5. 0. 0. The remainder of the cost is in removing gearbox clutch casing etc. A point to be remembered in the loose ring is - Cricklewood have come across cases when upon withdrawing a ring from the Stores, it has been too big, i.e. slack, and they could not fit it, and have had to obtain another from the Works. The old type 20.H. used to cost £1.18.0. for changing the ring. Continued. | ||
