-3- Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/WB.{Mr Brazier/Mr Bell}8/KT.15.7.33. The greatest reduction in restriction was effected by increasing the diameter of the needle valve seat to .125", but in order to obtain the full effect, it would be necessary to increase the lift of the needle, or otherwise reduce the restriction produced by the position of the needle, since the delivery, even with six release ports, was reduced when the needles were set at the maximum lift allowed with the floats "sunk". When the delivery was increased, this effect was more marked, and even larger needle seats, if practicable, would be advantageous. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/W.Bell. | ||
