Order No. WD{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}69 Customer's No. X8710 20-6-1929 Ignition coil NO. LS1. We have carried out a road test on this coil fitted to chassis 14G4. The experimental features of this coil are as follows :- a) 20000 turns on the secondary b) Paraffin waxed paper insulation. c) The extra insulation at the ends of the primary winding layers, deleted. The coil was entirely satisfactory throughout the test (carried out to our usual road test procedure) and no misfires were registered on the pick up or at high speeds with the voltage at 8.
