x7770 Exptl. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}16/KW. 25th February, 1935. W. Emmott Esq., 15, King's Avenue, Ealing, London, W.5. Dear Mr. Emmott, I am afraid I was in London when your car was finished in the middle of last week, and therefore was not able to try it myself before your Chauffeur fetched it. I think, however, you will find that we have considerably reduced the boom, prevented the carburetter from hiccoughing, and improved the ride at low speeds by attention to the springs and shock absorbers. I think you will find that for the most comfortable ride in the rear seats at low speeds the damper control should be in the minimum position, and for driving yourself at high speeds you can of course increase the amount for controllability of the car. Hoping to be able to see you at Le Mans. Yours sincerely, | ||
