Dear Sirs, We thank you for your letter of the 8th inst. giving us preliminary results of your tests of Nos. 200 and 201. detachable steatite plugs. According to the tests which we made at these Works we ascertained that the pre-ignition limits of the 200 closed type were somewhat better than the 201 open type, and this is apparently confirmed by your tests. Providing the No. 200 closed type will not oil up it is no doubt the most satisfactory model.
