Dear Sirs, We have heard through Mr. Clark of the Eastern National Omnibus Company Ld. that you might be interested in our 'Kathanode' type battery for fitting on your cars. 'Kathanode' Batteries are very largely used for all forms of electric traction and for starting and lighting omnibuses, but are not fitted on private cars where the space available is very limited. One of the important features of our 'Kathanode' battery is the patent separator, which effectively protects the working surfaces of the plates and ensures long life. Most of the buses and trolley buses in Derby are fitted with our batteries, and we should be pleased to have the opportunity of quoting you for batteries suitable for Rolls Royce cars if you would let us know the voltage and capacity required. The enclosed list gives the capacity and dimensions of standard size batteries as supplied for commercial vehicles and omnibuses, but many other sizes of 'Kathanode' batteries are available.
