Dear Sirs,

With further reference to recent correspondence the following charts are now available regarding two of the blocks sent for test.

608/B1 Mark V1 Harrison Block Dissipation V Air Flow.
608/B2 " " " " " V Water "
609/B1 " Marston " " " V Air "
609/B2 " " " " " V Water "

The other two blocks will be tested as soon as the plant is free, which we anticipate will be by the middle of this week, and the results will be known some three or four days later.

The trials indicate that the Harrison block is the better performer. Both the air and the water resistances are equal. The dissipation at 100° TD between mean water and air inlet does not fall materially with water speed, there being only 10% reduction (at maximum air velocity tested) for a change in water flow from 35 to 12 gallons per minute. This loss is however further increased by the greater fall in water temperature at the lower water flows. This loss is of greater consequence for low differences of temperature between air inlet and maximum permissible water temperature.

Yours faithfully,
CLAYTON DEWANDRE CO. LTD.

COMMERCIAL MANAGER.
