NOTES ON A DISCUSSION BETWEEN
Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} and Mr. GREEN, - HELD ON
15.5.40.

1. STIFENING OF COUPE SCUTTLE.

It was agreed that drawings would be made by Rolls Royce for the essential features which are necessary in order to reproduce the Experimental results in a manner acceptable to production, and that these should be handed over to Ward.

That Ward would then be asked to produce a drawing of a fully rationalised body which incorporates these modifications and that after this has been approved a new body should be built.

2. VEE TYPE WINDSCREEN ON B.V. BODY.

This should be dealt with in the same way as the coupe.

3. RIPPLET.

It was agreed that Mr. Green would contact Ward and find out when the Ripplet would be ready for inspection.

4. DRAWING OFFICE STAFF AT PARK WARD'S.

It was agreed that Mr. Ward would be asked to have one man working full-time on a full-size drawing board on rationalised coachwork.

5. ASSISTANT BODYWORK DRAUGHTSMAN AT DERBY.

Mr. Green raised the question of an assistant draughtsman and said that he had heard of a suitable individual. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} said that the question of taking on another man would be considered when the job had settled down.
