Messrs. Rolls Royce Ltd.,

Your Ref Wd{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}/AW.10/W.7121.

Dear Sirs,

Referring to your letter of the 7th inst., we quite understand the necessity of carrying out the further tests on the Straight Sided Tyres on dry roads, and the writer is waiting to hear from you as to when conditions are suitable and it will be convenient for him to come over.

It is very unfortunate that the weather has recently been so unfavourable as we are particularly anxious to complete this matter at the earliest possible moment in order to put ourselves in a position to meet your requirements.

We have in the meantime prepared some further modifications of design which the writer will bring over and submit to you.

You can rely upon the writer being with you in the matter of a couple of hours after getting your message.

Yours faithfully,
FOR THE DUNLOP RUBBER CO.
