2 -ss.{S. Smith} FROM R.{Sir Henry Royce} (At Le CanadelHenry Royce's French residence.) ORIGINAL R4/M23.2.29. REC'D AT WW. 28.2.29. C. to WGR. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} EFC. HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} DY.{F R Danby} ACCESSORIES OF HIGHEST QUALITY. X.4478 X.7550 I should like our management to consider whether it would pay us to make any further electrical accessories in our Electrical Dept., either from our own designs, or get licenses. It comes about from DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}'s memo. referring to electric screen wipers and horns, Bosch of Germany being apparently the only satisfactory design and reliable make. Personally I fear we should not get through sufficient in number, and we might only assemble the mass made parts. Would SG.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} like WGR. and BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} to look at a model? R.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
