We would like to suggest that you try, one of the above pulleys in Mr. Hall's specialalloy, as if it proves successful it may possibly be easier to produce than the present malleable cast iron piece, but would, of course, be more expensive. On the whole I do not think there is much to gain, but it is worth while trying a cast to see whether it would be more regular and would therefore demand rather less work. By.{R.W.
