...you are searching for the cause of trouble... A particularly irritating fault was discovered on the writer's car, caused by a slight amount of wear... Sketch showing how a spring may be fitted in a ball steering joint to take up wear and stop rattle... have suggested that it is much better to drain the oil... it is best to allow... to keep the engine from... and which is sold by Messrs. Daimler, Ltd. When draining a cold engine it should be seen there is no oil or dirt at the bottom of the crank... it must be removed with a stick and a good hard rub with a coarse rag...
