PHANTOM MAGNETO.
--------------

Please note that the new type Watford magneto EW.6 has been passed for production by the standardisation sheets being fully signed up. Will you kindly arrange to instruct this magneto for F.2 series.

We shall of course be responsible for any magneto work which is in hand at Messrs. Watfords, and it will be necessary for the Order Office to make such arrangements as to cover the magnetos which have been returned to Messrs. North or are likely to be returned. If this means that we have to go into F.2 series with the E.O.6 type of magneto, this will have to be arranged for as so far as I am aware we are the only people using any quantity of this type of magneto produced by Messrs. Watford, and we must of course make arrangements to see that the magnetos in building and built up are used.

If of course we can use the magnetos and materials for which we are involved with Messrs. Norths before the end of E.2 series we can then bring in the new magneto for the balance.
