To C. from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} c. to BJ. X5500 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}5/LG16.12.27. X5500 20 HP. CAR WITH WIDER DASH. The 20 HP. car with wider dash has been left at W.W. while Mr. Royce is away for reference. We are arranging for you to sell the Phantom car which he has been running. With regard to your request that Sales would like to see a 20 HP. car fitted with a wider dash. We recommend that you send the driver to W.W. to take the car to London and to return it there after you have finished with it. We told Mr. Elliott we were expecting you would want to borrow the car for 2 or 3 days. We think it would be a good thing for you to examine this car because it has a lower appearance than our average 20s., and R.{Sir Henry Royce} is very anxious that we should keep the bodies as low as possible.
