BELT TEST X196 M2/129/13. The present Fan Stretching Rig cannot be spared for a prolonged test, we have therefore shown a similar rig (some parts of which we can borrow from present rig) largely consisting of existing pieces. The pulleys, lever spindle support, + driving shaft are new. It is proposed to take a length of belt to give correct centre distance + give it a certain tension by means of the weight on end of lever. The lever is then to be locked in this position. The idea is to run the belt slowly then quickly & lastly, slowly, to see what effect the fast speed has had on the belt. When driving the Fan, should we have a pulley on the fan, driving a | ||
