RE 20.HP. BONNET.

We have shewn the photograph of Mr. Geoffrey Smith's "Twenty" to Mr. Royce, and have suggested to him that we should adopt the dimensions of the bonnet, radiator and dash of that car as standard, as they do a lot towards modernising the appearance and are essential to the modern coachwork art.

We have proposed taking this particular car just as it is rather than suggesting any other change, since such a policy immediately gives us a car to look at and approve of or do otherwise.

Mr Royce has asked us to tell you that he likes the look of the car in question, and agrees to our standardising the changes as soon as possible, provided that Sales agree.

We would therefore be glad if the opinions of the leading coachbuilders and of Sales could be obtained as soon as possible.

We suggest that Derby should hold up all future material until we are able to instruct the modifications.

It will be appreciated that the writer cannot offer any opinion on the matter as he has never seen the car.

All these changes, whatever they may be, will form part of India 3. but we do not wish to wait until them before we have them. India 3. will also have the radiator lower in the frame, in all probability.
