20hp Dynamos M and R3.
M. {Mr Moon / Mr Moore} This machine has run 4096 miles on 4GI and was reported in AC.38 of 5-II-25. Since then it has run a further 1236 miles on GF.68, totalling 5332 and has now been removed and replaced.
The commutator (29 segments, annealed) is in very good condition and the brushes are fairly smooth, but the positive is characteristically blackened.
The machine was set by the general specification, the control brush position found being 129° from the positive.
Brush wear has been (over 5332 miles) Positive .122" Negative .048", Control .041".
