Return of a faulty Lucas dynamo from an experimental car for examination and repair.

| To Shipping Office. c. Despatch Stores. c. to C.C. X.30146. EFC4/T10.9.20. X.30146 RE LUCAS DYNAMO. We are sending into the stores for return to Messrs. Lucas, a dynamo which has run some distance on one of the experimental cars, but has latterly got into a bad state. We wish this to be returned to Messrs. Lucas for examination and repair. Messrs. Lucas should either send us another machine in place of this, or return this one when it is repaired. Presumably it must be left to them as to whether we or they bear the cost of repair. As, however, there was an initial fault in this machine, it seems most likely that this should fall with them. EFC. | ||
