HYDRAULIC SHOCK ABSORBERS.

In view of the fact that the tendency is to reduce the load on the hydraulic shock absorbers on both 40/50 and 25 HP. we think that it is important that we should make all the pin bearings in the shock absorbers on the same lines as the improvement which we recently tested out on Phantom ll fronts, i.e. case hardened eyes fitted with lubricating hole.

As this is rather a fine job we suggest that a few production shock absorbers should be stripped after they have been through test to see that the bearings of these pins are O.K.
